For the first time this annual competition was digital projected images. Last year's winners the Western Photographic Society hosted the competition at Glen Helen Lodge. An enjoyable evening viewing the usual high standard of photographs ably judged by Alex Maddrell ended with The Southern Photographic Society emerging as winners. Congratulations to all at the Southern, and to members from all clubs who submitted photographs, as the standard was incredibly high giving Alex a very difficult job indeed. Special thanks to Alex for all his time and effort in judging the competition. The total marks were: SPS 508, IOM PS 482, WPS 477. Dorothy Flint, LRPS of the Western PS won the Clyde Savage Shield for the best entry in the competition with a superb Photo of a Robin on a frosty branch - congratulations Dorothy.
