The Ayres Trip, 2nd August 2018

 

The Club trip to the Ayres this year was enjoyed by 13 members  (14 at the meal)

We gathered for a briefing by the general manager, Stephen Smythe from the Island Aggregates who explained the site workings and the area we would be taken to for our photography.

​

We were taken to a large area taken over by wildlife, with lots of birds and plants by the two lakes we visited.   We were free to wander and explore  for a good while  in fine weather

​

Thanks to Doreen for organising the trip and a big thanks to Stephen. 

​

We then all made our way to the Grosvenor in Andreas and had a super meal to finish the day.
